Sevadham at its service towards the society
Sevadham (a unit of manav mandir foundation) working in the field of ayurvedic & naturopathy treatments. Whatever we earn we devote it to the benefit of society by donating every penny of profits to manav mandir mission trust for orphans and their education and development. We provide service to the society and return it back to society in other form.
Recently the world is having a new cause of suffering in the form of Covid-19 pandemic. At this point of time whole world is dealing with many issues as the economies have went down and the source of earnings have shrinked. Every nation is trying to contain covid -19 virus by practicing lockdowns and social distancing along with healthy practices like hand washing, maintaining good hygiene & healthy eating practices.
India being among the biggest service providers of world and developing nation is facing a lot of issues as most of its population is comprised of service individuals which includes a huge number of people being poor and daily wage workers. As they earned on daily basis and tried to fulfil their basic needs this lockdown effected them a lot.
Since we had been working for the society it was our prime duty to come up and play our part in upliftment of society. So along with the help of the honoured people who are associated with us we did a few possible things that was needed then. The details of our activities are being mentioned below.
We along with the District magistrate Harleen Kaur Madam on 01st june 2020 distributed health kit to the poor and needy people. The health kit included dettol soap, slippers, sanitizers, mask, tooth paste, tooth brush and other necessary thing that are used in daily work. We are very grateful to our DM Harleen Kaur Madam for taking out time and helping us in distribution of these packets.
This camp was organised in the field near sevadham’s vicinity on 28th of April 2020. In this camp sevadham’s doctors told the chidren from nearby slums about maintaining hygiene and taught them about social distancing and healthy habits. Sevadham even distributed packets to around 200 children which included masks, Dettol soap, Colgate, Brush & sanitizers.
We are very grateful to all those who were our associated with us in all this and we further hope more cooperation from all of you as this is our duty to help others if we have sufficient for our need. We belong to India a nation which in has given birth to people like Karn (who gave away everything even his life when was begged for), Maharshi Dadichi (Who gave away his bones to fight against demons) & above all we are Indians and we Indians Have always been known for our generous nature. Hence we all should come forward to help those who need our support at this point of time.
